Fishing Is still great

Mangove snapper fishing is very good right now. A side benefit of all the cold fronts is mangrove snapper and gag grouper bunch up very tightly on ledges and reefs to feed togeather. We are catching limits nearly every day. Give us a call to discuss our charters.

Grouper & Snapper

The cold weather has finally eased off but the fishing remains very difficult. We are getting nice catches of gag groupe and mangrove snapper but we are having to work very hard to get them. Very light line and live shrimp seem to be the most productive. The days are warming into the 70s so fishing will rebound very quickly. We are proud to be the winner of another Naples daily News Reader's Choice award this year. It is our seventh consecutive award.

Fishing report

Fishing in Naples, Florida this January is extremely difficult. The water is
much colder than normal and this causes the fish to either move to deeper
water or seek safety around wrecks and ledges. Right now many captains are
having a hard time bringing nice catches to the dock because they can't get
far enough offshore to where the fish are congregating. When the winds have
allowed we have been venturing out 30-35 miles fishing some of our most
private spots and returning with nice catches of grouper, snapper, amberjack
and cobia. Deep sea fishing in Naples should remain challenging until the
spring but for those who know this is one of the better times of year to
fish. I will be back in a few days with an updated report.

Mangrove Snapper Fishing

Mangrove Snapper Fishing is now beginning to peak. For the next three months
we should regularly catch lots of large, offshore snapper including,
mangrove, lane and muttons. Don't miss this action packed time to score on
offshore snappers.
