Fantastic Christmas fishing

This fall the fishing has been as good as we have seen in some years. With
Christmas holidays coming on we expect to continue catching grouper and
snapper. King mackerel and amberjack have also showed up to spice up the
action.

Fishing in southwest Florida remains phenomenal. Grouper, snapper,
amberjacks, jewfish and sharks are all being caught on full day trips right
now. The weather has been perfect.

It should stay very good through Christmas.

Fall is now here and that means cobia, gag grouper and lots of Kingfish. We have had an outstanding week and expect Thanksgiving to be even better.

Grouper Fishing

Red Hot Naples Grouper Fishing

Tommy Warren from Tallahassee and his party came down to Naples on Saturday
to go grouper fishing. We caught at least 30 red and gag grouper over 6
pounds in addition to a 20 pound kingfish and several mangrove snapper.

Fall Snapper Fishing

We had our first cold front pass through our area last weekend and while the
cool weather did not last long the first signs of mangrove snapper are
certain to remain for some time. As these fronts move in more and more
mangrove snapper appear and are ready to feed in the cloudy waters after the
passage of the fronts.
